YRC Coordinator organize the Awareness Rally for “ELIMINATION OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN”.A rally to create awareness of the Elimination Of Violence Against Women was flagged off by President of Velur Panchayat Ms. P. Ambikai Sivashanmugam and Mr. P. Balasubramaniam Vice-President of Velur Panchayat near the Panjayathu union office in Velur on 25th November 2022. 200 student-teachers passionately participated the rally which covers the local streets and main bazaar along with slogans on Elimination Of Violence Against Women. Rally ended with government high school at Velur.

On the occasions celebration of International Elimination of Violence against for Women. Our student-teachers gave a short talk on violence against women and how to prevent such violence from the society in personally on the local gathering. The President, Vice-president, Principal, Faculty Members YRC Coordinator Head master and local public from Velur Panchayat presence the gathering. Around 400 peoples from Local Public, 100 days working women along with our student-teachers participated and benefited by this programme.

On June 14 World Blood Donors Day was celebrated here by Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Education Perambalur.About 50 participants including students and faculties .They also took active initiation on spreading awareness regarding blood donation.
A rally to create awareness of the blood donate was near the Panjayathu union office in Esanai on 06.06.2022.The rally that was aimed at awareness about the need to donate blood regularly to increase the availability of safe blood and its products for patients in need. This day is also an occasion to thank donors who volunteer to donate the life-saving gift of blood. This also acts as an encouragement for others who are otherwise hesitant to volunteer in the noble cause.
On the occasion of world Food safety day 2022, YRC volunteers participated the awareness program with the theme of Traditional Food. Student teachers participated in rally. Student teachers were insists door to door to the public the uses of millets and also importance of using traditional food and balance diet. Students-teachers were actively participated and were clarified the doubts on uses of millets and Natural food to the public.
An online world cancer day awareness program -2022 was organized by IQAC of our college on 6th February 2022. The resource person was Dr. S. Kamaraj BSMS., Dip. YOGA, District Siddha medical officer and drug Inspector (IM), Perambalur and Ariyalur districts. Mr. C. Manimaran assistant professor of education welcomed the gathering and Dr.Vengo Regis, IQAC coordinator introduced the resource person and explained the dynamics of program and the felicitation given by Dr. Santhakumari, Principal of our college. The resource person began the session with brief introduction and later he explained the role of food, fruits and life styles and routine practices of human beings for preventing cancer. A total of 165 participants including trainee-teachers, teacher-educators benefitted from this webinar.

An online Notographic (Braille) day program was organized by NSS & YRC of our College on 7th February 2022. The resource person was Dr.C.Selvaraj, Assistant professor, department of Economics, Government arts college (Autonomous) Coimbatore. Mr.P.Ramakrishnan, Assistant Professor in Pedagogical of Tamil education, welcomed the gathering and introduced the resource person. Felicitation given by Dr.Santhakumari, Principal of our college, The resource person began the session and he explained clearly about the difficulty, handling and the effective usage of the Braille language based on the level of the trainees gathering. Thanks note given by Dr.S.Rengaraj and A total of 231 participants including trainee-teachers, teacher-educators benefitted from this webinar.

IQAC-Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Education, Perambalur conducted a awareness program on First-Aid for our teacher trainees. Mr. R. Karal Marks from Alert NGO, Chennai acted as a resource person. CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation) and life skills explained and how to apply these skills in needed situations and saving human life was clearly explained. Practical session were also conducted with the help of mannequin human body, trainees got experience by engage themselves and applied effective pushes and clear their doubt regarding 30 times exact pressing for saving life. Feedback collected from the trainees, around 550 trainees benefitted from this first aid awareness program.
