ENNUM EZHUTHUM

Ennum Ezhuthum impact Assessment Programme – 2023 Training Schedule on DIET, Padalur- 04.09.2023 to 05.09.2023

As per direction of Higher Education, our B.ED student teachers appointed as Third party Evaluators to analyse the எண்ணும் எழுத்தும் திறனாய்வு for I std to III std students of government schools.

44 student teachers attended 2 days (4.9.23 & 5.9.23) training programme in District Teacher Training Institute (DIET) , Padallur.

Followed by 6days direct analyse in their allotted schools in perambalur district.


Ennum Ezhuthum impact Assessment Programme - 7th Sep to 15th Sep, 2023

The Ennum Ezhuthum Scheme is a flagship program of the Tamil Nadu government that was launched in 2022-23 to address the learning gap caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The scheme aims to ensure that all students in Tamil Nadu by the age of 8 can read with comprehension and possess basic arithmetic skills by 2025. The scheme is being implemented in all government schools in Tamil Nadu, and it covers students in classes 1to5. The scheme uses a variety of methods to improve student learning, including:

1. Level-based instruction: Students are grouped into different levels based on their current learning level, and they are given instruction at their own pace.

2. Integrated learning: Students teach different subjects (Tamil, English, Maths, and EVS) in an integrated way, so that they can see the connections between the different subjects.

3. Use of technology: The scheme uses a variety of digital resources, such as tablets and educational apps, to support student learning.

By the direction of Higher Education and appointed 43 student-teachers as Third Party Evaluators for the Ennum Ezhuththum impact Assessment Programme – 2023, 43 student-teachers have visited 54 schools of 3 educational blocks of Perambalur districts from 7th Sep to 15th Sep, 2023 with continues support and encouragement from DIET, Padalur


ENNUM EZHUTHUM – 26.11.2024

Tamil Nadu Government launched Ennum Ezhuthum mission of flagship programme aim to enhance literacy in all Government and Government Aided schools for classes 1 to 5. Now plan to conduct a comprehensive Midline Assessment to analyse student learning outcomes.

Regarding our I year student teachers participated in the training program on 26.11.24 & 27.11.14 in Padalur DIET


ENNUM EZHUTHUM MIDLINE SURVEY

Ennum Ezhuthum Mission has been envisioned to improve the quality of teaching and learning in primary classes in Tamil Nadu. The goal of the Ennum Ezhuthum mission is to ensure that all students of classes 1,2, and 3 in government schools in Tamil Nadu can read with comprehension and possess basic arithmetic skills by 2025. The mission also aims to tackle the learning gap caused due to school closures during the COVID-19 lockdown. Towards this, under the academic leadership of the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), the Ennum Ezhuthum Mission shall commence from the academic year 2022-23 across all districts of Tamil Nadu. By 2025 all primary children in government and aided schools in Tamil Nadu will attain basic literacy and numeracy skills

Our I year B.Ed. student teachers attended the Ennum Ezhuthum Mission training program in DIET padalur on 27 & 28th November. 51 student teachers placed their comprehension and arithmetic skill assessment from 5.12.24 to 6.12.2024, 9.12.2024 to 11.12.2024, 18.12.2024 to 19.12.2024 in 4 block, each 5-school allotted in perambalur district
