NATIONAL VOTERS DAY - 25.01. 2025

14th National Voters Day 39; Day 2025 is celebrated on 25 January to encourage the youth to participate in the vote in the electoral process. It not only encourages the youth to participate in the electoral process but also focuses on the fact that the right to vote is a basic right.

The main objective behind the celebration is to encourage, facilitate, and maximize enrolment, especially for new voters. The day has been celebrated since 2011 across the country to mark the foundation of the Election Commission of India, i.e. 25th January 1950. To raise awareness of the value of voting in a democracy and promote active engagement in the election process. It underlines how each individual vote can have a significant impact on the future of the country and stresses the importance of voting responsibly, ethically, and with knowledge.

The theme for National Voters' Day 2025 is “Nothing Like Voting, I Vote for Sure”. This theme carries forward the momentum of last year’s theme, emphasizing the significance of voting as a fundamental right and responsibility. Our Student Teachers Form a Human Formation of Vote to Insist the Theme Of 2025.The theme encourages every eligible citizen to not only recognize the importance of voting but also motivates them to actively participate in the electoral process without hesitat.

National Voters Day 24.01.2024

On January 24th, 2024, our campus vibrated with the spirit of democracy as we commemorated National Voter's Day under the theme "Nothing like Voting, I Vote For Sure." Echoing the theme, our student-teachers transformed into a living Asoka Chakra, symbolizing India's vibrant democracy. Each student, representing an empowered voter, stood within the spokes, while others formed a resolute tick mark within, signifying informed decision-making. This powerful formation resonated with the spirit of the day, culminating in the solemn recitation of the Voter Day pledge: " We the citizens of India, having abiding faith in democracy, hereby pledge to uphold the democratic traditions of our country and the dignity of free, fair and peaceful elections, and to vote in every election fearlessly and without being influenced by considerations of religion, race, caste, community, language or any inducement." This inspiring ceremony served as a powerful reminder of our individual responsibility to strengthen the fabric of our democracy, one vote at a time.
