INAUGURATION 2018-2019

15th Inauguration function of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of education had been contacted on 02.08.2018 in our college auditorium. The principal gave welcomed to the chief gust. Then the founder - chairman delivered the presidential address. Keynote address about "valuable of mother's womb and class room of schools" to student teachers has been given by honorable Vice - Chancellor, Dr.S Thangasamy, Ph.D., Tamilnadu Teacher Educational University Chennai. Delivered vote of thanks has been given by professor.

BRIDGE COURSE PROGRAM -03.08.2018

Bridge course program has been conducted in our college on 3.08.2018. The chief guest Dr.K.Anandhan Professor & Head, Department of Education, arrived from Bharathidasan University in Trichy. He has been given briefly explained about Teacher education refers to the policies, procedures, and provision designed to equip (prospective) teachers with the knowledge, attitudes, behaviors, and skills they require to perform their tasks effectively in the classroom, school, and wider community. Training is a program that helps teacher learns specific knowledge or skills to improve performance in their current roles. Development is more expansive and focuses on teacher growth and future performance, rather than an immediate job role.

BRIDGE COURSE PROGRAM -13.08.2018

Bridge course program has been conducted two days in our college on 13.08.2018 to 14.08 2018. The chief guest Agastin christoper arrived from Bharathidhasan Constitution College in Lalkudi. He has been delivered speech about “personality development’. Following day on 14th august the first session has been shared by Mr.chandramouli, arrived from Bharathidhasan Constitution College in kurumbalur. He has been delivered speech about “the strong mind” at last he asked question and appreciated the student teacher and afternoon session shared by Mr. Senthilkumar department of Tamil, arrived from Bharathidhasan Constitution College in kurumbalur and he delivered the speech about “Pancha thandra, Health education and importance of Traditional food”.

TEACHERS DAY – 05.09.2018

Teachers' day has been celebrated on 05.09.2018 in our College. It was organized by Student teachers. The Principal gave delivered the presidential address. Keynote address about "Quality of teacher" to student teachers has been given by honorable Dr. Malathi principal of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of engineering. Student teacher has been conducted verity of program included Speech, dance, skit and song performed by the student's teachers. The Principal has appreciated of winners and gave the prize.

DIPLOMA IN ABACUS TRAINING CERTIFICATE COURSE – 18.09.2018

Our institution has been organizing inauguration function of diploma in abacus training certificate course on 18.09.2018. Instructor Mr.Udhayakumar arrived from Edfocus Diploma Trainer Center. He deliver speech about ‘uses for learning abacus’, The student teacher has care capability and memory power will increase, Learning skills and teaching skills will be improve, personality skills and leadership skills will be develop, The right brain, and the left brain will be run as well as help keep our depressed.

Mahatma Gandhi 150th birth anniversary celebration

INITIATE SEED COLLECTION, PLANT PROTECTION AND PLANT GROWTH MONITORING -27.09.2018

Our College has been conducted Initiate Seed Collection, Plant Protection and Plant Growth Monitoring awareness programme on 27.09.2018. Elucidated by our Agricultural college professor, our students have been participated in this programme. In our student teachers it knows about a seed collection and seed bank. There are many reasons to store seeds. One is to have available the genes that plant breeders need to increase yield, disease resistance, drought tolerance, nutritional quality, taste, etc. of crops. Plant protection is the practice of managing weather, weeds, pests and diseases that damage or inhibit the growth of fruit, vegetable and other horticultural crops. The plant growth monitoring system is referred as plants require at least a few basic factors for proper growth, these are proper:

  • Irrigation
  • Temperature
  • Soil pH
  • Humidity
  • Amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere

DEMONSTRATE THE USE MAINTENANCE OF HOME THINGS – 27.09.2018

PARTICIPATE IN LOCAL AGRICULTURAL DAIRY FARMS – 27.09.2018

Our student teachers has been participate "dairy farm practices" in our College dairy farm on 27.09.2018. These practices must ensure that the milk and milk products produced are safe and suitable for their intended use, and also that the dairy farm enterprise is viable into the future, from the economic, social and environmental perspectives. Most importantly, dairy farmers are in the business of producing food for human consumption so they must be confident in the safety and quality of the milk they produce. Good dairy farming practice underpins the production of milk that satisfies the highest expectations of the food industry and consumers.

DEMONSTRATE AND PRACTICE USE OF FIRST AID BOX – 27.09.2018

Our College has been conducted awareness programme of demonstrate and practice use of first aid and emergency medicine on 27.09.2018. Elucidated by our medical college doctor, our students have been erudite about first aid and emergency medicine from awareness programme.

POOJA CELEBRATION – 18.10.2018

Ayudha pooja and saraswathi Pooja had been celebrated in our institution on October 18, 2018. Our college principal, faculty and students teacher are assembled have a good time Camphor burn to pray the God for Ayudha pooja and saraswathi Pooja in library, computer lab, and chemistry lab physical science lab and physical education.

Reading And Reflecting On Texts – 02.11.2018

Reading and reflective on text has been conducted by our college on 02. 11. 2018, upon completion of this course, the student teachers has been improved proficiency in reading , writing, creative ability, logical ability, analytical power, thinking skill, reading skill and communicative skill. Students' teacher has been developed of cognitive awareness to become conscious of their own thinking processes as they get familiar with diverse texts.

ARTS AND CRAFT – 09.11.2018

Craft Expo has been organized by our college on 09. 11.2018. Student teacher Craft Expo is known for its one of a kind work of the highest quality: Ceramics, Wearable and Non-Wearable Fiber, Metal and Non-Metal Jewelry, Glass, Leather, Metal, Mixed Media, Painting, Photography, Printmakin, Sculpture and Wood. Items range from decorative to functional and traditional to contemporary. All work presented at Craft Expo is handmade by the artists, all of whom have been accepted in the show by a panel of professional peers, thereby ensuring only the highest quality in workmanship, design and materials. A craft activity for student teacher has been attending the show, faculty and student teacher craft demos, and the chance to bid on donated craft pieces at the shows annual silent auction.

TECHNOLOGY IN HAND - PREPARATION OF E-CONTENT

Teacher-created digital stories may also be used to enhance current lessons within a larger unit, as a way to facilitate discussion about the topics presented a story and as a way of making abstract or conceptual content more understandable. While many educators still lack a cohesive plan for integrating multimedia into their instruction, a growing number of teachers are interested in exploring ways to engage their students by including images, audio and video elements in their instruction. Research has shown that the use of multimedia in teaching helps students retain new information as well as aids in the comprehension of difficult material. And Digital Storytelling can provide educators with a powerful tool to use in their class rooms.

NATIONAL EDUCATION DAY – 28.11.2018

National Education Day was celebrated on 28.11.18 in our College. Mr.P.Ravikumar, Asst .Professor delivered a Welcome speech. Dr.K.Santhakumarai, Principal, Presided Over the function and delivered a valuable speech about the origin of National Education day- in the remembrance of Dr.Moulana Abul Kalam Azad. Felicitation address given by Mr.G.Baskaran, Professor from Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan college of education. Also, we conducted a debate Programme regarding ," As present education methods Boon or curse". Our students eagerly participated in this programme and they expressed their thought about Boon or Curse as present education method. Many of them participated in Tamil and English elocution about Dr.Moulana Abul Kalam Azad and his contribution to education.
