Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Education 13th Inaugural function conducted on 17.08.2016. Founder chairman Shri.A.Srinivasan Sir, Presided Over the function and delivered presidential address. Dr.K.Santhakumarai, Principal Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Education, Welcome the gathering, Chief Guest Dr.N.Elango M.E., Ph.D, Principal, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Engineering College, Perambalur. Delivered special key note address and P.Anandhan,Vice Principal delivered the vote of thanks.

CAREER COUNSELLING – 23.08.2016

Asst .Professor R. Senthilkumar and Asst .Professor P.Ananthan to gather delivered speech on 23.08.16 about the “Self Awareness” they explained on the skills of self awareness are applied in various aspects of life, in human relationships, learning about right& in health issues, Mental Health –stresses, HIV – AIDS/STD prevention, Drug abuse, Sexual violence, Teenage pregnancy, Suicide prevention.

ACADEMIC COUNSELLING -23.08.16

Asst .Professor C.Manimaran delivered speech on 23.08.16 about the “Life Skills”. His discussed the subsequent core life skills. There are, Self- awareness, Empathy, Critical thinking, Creative thinking, Decision making, problem solving, Effective communication, Interpersonal relationship, Coping with stress, Coping with emotion. It has used educational carrier for student teacher.

LIFE SKILL PROGRAMMES - 23.10.16

The Principal had been delivered to speech on 23.10.16 about the “The Four pillars of education” consists of (I) Learning to know it relates to cognitive life skills such as article thinking problem solving and decision making skills. (II) Learning to be it relates to self-management life skills related to self awareness, self esteem & self confidence, and coping skill. (III) Learning to Live Together it relates to communication skills, negotiation skills, refusal skills, Assertiveness skill, Interpersonal skill, Co-operation skill & Empathy skills. (IV) Learning to do if refers to central human functional capabilities of “life” “Bodily Heath”, “Bodily integrity”, and control over one’s environments. It is very use full for the student teacher to enhance the teaching profession.

NATIONAL EDUCATION DAY – 16.11.16

National Education Day was celebrated on 16.11.16 in our College. Dr.K.Santhakumarai, Principal, Presided Over the function and delivered a valuable speech about the origin of National Education day- in the remembrance of Dr.Moulana Abul Kalam Azad. Chief Guest Mr.G.Baskaran,PrincipalDhanalakshmi Srinivasan Teacher Training Institute,delivered special key note address.

The real education is to manifest the best things in an individual. Hence we are availing opportunities for drawing out the talent among the pupils.Ms.K.Revathi drew the picture of Dr.Moulana Abul Kalam Azad.

Also, we conducted a debate Programme regarding ,"Our Education system is based on Ancient Education or Today's Education". Our students eagerly participated in this programme and they expressed their thought about Ancient and Today's Education system.

Many of them participated in Tamil and English elocution about Dr.Moulana Abul Kalam Azad and his contribution to education. Finally, Mr.P.Anandhan,VicePrincipal delivered the vote of thanks

READING AND REFLECING ON TEXTS – 18.11.16

The aim of the professional capacity of a student-teacher, specifically reading and writing skills. To enhance the reading ability of student-teachers, we conducted skill development programme on 18.11.16.

To give the development of skills for student-teachers, right at the school level, is very essential to channelise them for proper job opportunities. There should be a balanced growth in all the sectors.

DRAMA AND ARTS IN EDUCATION

Drama and Arts in Education should engage the student - teachers to nurture and build their sensitivities through drama based their sensitivities through drama based on experience, emotions and interpretation. Our student-teachers performed the programme for transformational action, experience and stage different kinds of drama and contemporary traditions relating to pedagogy to day-to-day problems of students in their life.

TECHNOLOGY IN HAND –PREPARATION FO E-CONTENT

Education is no longer acquisition of bookish language. It is considered to be a lifelong process that keeps a going from the technology oriented.Our student-teachers delivered how to prepare the teaching material through e-content,e-booklet for the selected school subjectand to create for individual growth and prepare the year content through Power Point Presentation.

LESSON PLAN WRITING AND ACHIEVEMENT TEST CONSTRUCTION-15.12.16

As per University norms, we had been conducted the lesson plan writing and achievement test construction on 15.12.16. Mr.R.Anandhan delivered speech about lesson plan writing and achievement test construction and explained the methods of test construction and lesson plan writing. Students learned Self- awareness, Empathy, Critical thinking, Creative thinking, Decision making, problem solving, Effective communication. It has used educational carrier for student teacher.

NATIONAL MATHEMATICS DAY – 22.12.16

National Mathematics Day was celebrated on 22.12.16 in our College Auditorium. Dr.K.Santhakumarai, Principal, presided Over the function. Ms.G.Thangam,Asst.Professor welcome the gathering and introduced the Chief Guest by Mr.R.Anand,Asst.Professor.The Chief Guest Mr.K.Murali,Head of the Department,Oxford Engineering College,Trichy,delivered a valuable speech about the the Mathematician Sri.Srinivasa Ramanujam He shared the technique related to Maths and insisted the easy steps to do Maths and also he asked the logic questions to the student-teachers and he appreciated them. Finally, Mrs.K.Bakkiyalakshmi,Asst.Professor, delivered the vote of thanks.

INNOVATIVE SCHOOL VISIT - 23.12.16

There's no shortage of innovation happening in schools today. We see it every time we visit a new school - whether it's in my own backyard or on the other side of the world. But while all of that innovation is encouraging, it tends to happen in isolation - in a single classroom behind closed doors or in a few schools or districts. In order for meaningful changes to take hold in education, we must find a way to scale this good work. So,we are taking an important step toward making that happen.

Innovative Schools are getting ready to greet key decision-makers from around the world, who will visit their schools to experience first-hand how these highly recognized schools have successfully implemented technology to support world-class learning environments. Our student teachers visited Gowthama buthar dem and deaf high school at Perambalur on 21.12.16 to 23.12.16.

The main objective of early intervention centres is to identify infants and young children with Hearing Impairment/Mental Retardation/Visual Impairment / Cerebral Palsy/ Autism/ Multiple Disabilities and to provide early intervention services to address the disability with medical and rehabilitation services. It also provides required training to parents and families of such children for social adjustment and to facilitate the maximum development of the children with disabilities.

BOOK FAIR – 27.2.2017

Book fair conducted from January 27 to February 05, 2017 every year, our students participated in book fair. The book fair conducted as per direction by district collector in perambalur, our students performed cultural programme and bought useful books from the book fair.

CITIZENSHIPTRAINING CAMP - 22.03.2017

The citizenship training camp contacted on 22.03.2017 in our college campus. The inaugural function started at 10’o clock. The principal welcomed the chief gust. Then the founder –chairman delivered the presidential address. Rev. Dr.S.Mariyadhas, vice principal of St.Joseph’s college in Trichy, he delivered special key note address to the pupil, then the student’s representative delivered the vote of thanks.

Second Session – 22.03.2017

The second session was contained by Dr.Rasathi, the principal of Dhanalakshmisrinivasan nursing college in perambalur. She instruct on “health boy is wealth” . It is followed by student’s cultural programme.

MEDICAL CAMP – 23.03.17

Medical Camp was conducted by our college in pommanabody, Perambalur District on 23-03-17 with the aid of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Medical College, Siruvachur, Perambalur. Pupil got great opportunity to do good manners to the society. People were specified better treatment and they were given counseling. Our hospital’s doctors have follow-up with them.

CLEANING ACTIVITIES IN CHETTIKULAM SIVA TEMPLE

The student teachers are should bee know the environment around us how to keep our surrounding clean. It is a part and part of their practice so our student teachers accomplice the Cleaning activities on Murugan Temple in Chettikulam.

VISIT TO HUMAN UPLIFT HOME (AIDS affected children) AT SENJERI

Our Student teachers have visited the human uplift home and they donate Stationary Items, snacks, biscuits to the children’s at the home in Senjeri.

VISIT ON SCULPTURE CAMP

The student teachers went to visited in sculpture site and how does the art of make sculpture. Our student teachers interact with sculptor and know about technical and what are the uses of in our human life.

EDUCATION AWARENESS CAMP

Our students teachers have been met uneducated people and know about them, then our student teach education value and importance on human life in Pommanapady.

The second session was started at 2.00p.m.TheSpecial speech on “Woman start make the new world “was delivered by Miss.R.Kamalambal, director of animation technology in Trichy. She explained the need quality of woman education and woman honesty.

YOGA: 24.03.2017

The third day session was started on 24.03.2017 at 8.00 am with flag boom, Dr.BUVANESHVARI vice president of manavalakkalaitrust andMr. SundharAssot professor and trustin Perambalur, As theyDelivered Special speech about on“Yoga andthe younger is the power”. She briefly explains about the yoga and its importancelecture to the students – Teachers, simple exercise with practice andhow tokeep ourbody and healthy condition. In this programmeessentially focused on younger is the power of nation.

ULTIMATE CEREMONY OF CAMB – 24.03.2017

The closing ceremony of camb function was started on 24.03.2017 at 2.15 pm, the address of welcome speech given by student teacher, then following that address of keynote speech given by A. SRINIVASAN, the founder of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan group of institute in Perambalur, and then following that address of keynote given by Dr.R MAIDHILI KOBINATH former Principal of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasanart & Science in perambalur, and then following that final address of thanks given by representative of student.
